Logo

This logo is a compilation of many ideas that we have shared with each other about our farm. Tell us what you think. We would love to hear your feedback.

  1. Great design. positive/negative space is really cool.

  2. I'm a big fan of the design. It is fairly simple and can quickly be taken in, but it also draws me in and has several different elements. I first saw it as circle displayed over torn squares, but it then reminded me of a sun through a window.
If it is also to become your brand logo for retail cheese selling then I might be inclined to make sure that environmentalism and health is immediately and simply conveyed.

  3. Since I don't know the underlying ideas behind it, I can't speak to its fidelity to your original goal. However, I would suggest that you incorporate an image of Garth or Edmund hoisting a giant cheese wheel onto his shoulder. Specifically, I'm thinking of the Victory Brewing "Pours Proudly" poster. I think it's important that you convey your commitment to both sustainability and to being total badasses.

  4. I'd be into hearing what your ideas are about it. What it immediately suggests to me is the four of you (the rough-edged squares) connected to each other (the circle) in your farming endeavor. I think it's cool. If I knew nothing about your farm and saw this logo I wouldn't be able to guess that your were dairy farmers who make cheese...but that doesn't necessarily matter; though, if you want it to immediately convey dairy-farming and cheese making, maybe you could do something like the Lactaid logo--a person and a cow (on its hind legs) dancing arm in arm...just an idea.
